Birthing Biomechanics for Birth Workers – Terms and Conditions for Atendees/Participants
By Booking on to the Birthing Biomechanics Course with Shellie Poulter The Serenity Doula, participants understand and agree to the following by ticking the agree to terms and conditions box on the form above;

As a participant/attendeed on the Birthing Biomechanics Course, I understand that this course is intended to help birth professionals, such as (but not exclusively) doulas, doctors, midwives, physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, yoga teachers, antenatal teachers, etc. This course is designed to provide an understanding of the anatomy and physiology of birth, how the pregnant person and the baby interact and techniques that can be used during pregnancy in the lead up to birth for birth preparation as well as how to support birthing people with techniques during labour if it is not progressing well.

Material from this course is not intended for use by the participants to train other colleagues but to help families who are birthing. By ticking this box you are agreeing not to use any materials or information from the course for any purpose other than assisting birthing people through pregnancy and labour and/or their own Professional Development.
There are plenty of free resources available on this website www.theserenitydoula.co.uk and if parents feel they would like further information, they are welcome to attend one of my parent classes.

Booking Conditions
The course includes a chance for practicing techniques, therefore the number of people taking part is limited to make sure there is plenty of time for honing skils and having any questions answered. In order to reserve a space on the course, we ask for either a full course fee or 50% fee on booking to reserve a space. The full course fee is due 4 weeks before the course begins.

I am a working birth doula so am often on call. Therefore, in the event that I need to cancel the course, participants will be entitled to a full refund or a place on a future course, whichever is preferred.

Participants/Atendees who cancel their booking will be entitled to a 50% refund if cancelled 4 weeks prior to the course dates. If cancelled after this time, fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Please note that fees for the Reteach Breech are NON-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you will need to organise privately to transfer your place to another atendee and arrange transfer of funds with them directly.
